Collins Cove, just south of the Oxford town line, is actually in Webster although it is on the west side of the river. It is the largest cove on the river and is adjacent to the Boston-to-Albany railbed, which is the proposed route of the trail.
Open space south of the cove could be developed into a rustic park, left mostly natural but including a few picnic sites and trails. There is some history here, with remains of a rail turntable, and it is possibly the site of Slater Compamy picnics.
