The 1864 Stevens Mill Complex is currently undergoing renovations, which when completed will include a large number of condominium units. It's a key site along the trail, as it is a link between the less developed route to the south and the urban section.
An important feature of the site is the Great Bridge, an 1868 stone arch structure on Main Street between Webster and Dudley which is all but invisible. A narrow park could be constructed here to open a viewpoint on the bridge, with the potential to be expanded across the river to create a gathering place for the two towns.
